Released on October 4th is the second edition of F*ck Cancer, a hazy IPA brewed with Idaho 7, Mosaic and Citra hops. This beer was created in collaboration with Ghost Town Brewing and Canyon Club Brewery to support the work of Notes4Hope, a non-profit organization that builds community around the healing power of music to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research and prevention initiatives. Story Behind F*ck Cancer 

We teamed up with Ghost Team Brewing and Canyon Club Brewery to brew two distinct versions of F*ck Cancer, one of which is available here at Del Cielo.  Having had friends and family members affected by breast cancer, this cause was important for us to shine a light on.

We believe in partnering with others that do great work and are passionate about what they do. Being able to brew a beer and partner with the team at Notes4Hope allows us to support their work, while learning more about how to best support breast cancer patients in their health journey.

About Notes4Hope

Notes4Hope is a non-profit organization founded by Sandy and Mark.  After enduring a long 2 year journey of fighting cancer and multiple removal and treatment surgeries, she was deemed cancer free in 2011. Shortly after, her friends and family threw her a surprise “FUCANCER” party, which included a live band with lots of friends. 

Sandy believed that the support and love she received from friends and family helped her heal, along with the power of music. From that moment, a group of them decided to make things official and created Notes4hope to organize benefit concerts to support other families fighting the same fight. Not only does their team organize benefit concerts, they also provide Wellness & Recovery Kits for cancer patients and offer extensive research on toxic chemical-free products.

Ways to support 

There are several ways that you can support Notes4Hope and breast cancer prevention & awareness efforts. 

One of the ways is to experience a Notes4Hope fundraiser yourself: 

Join us on Saturday, October 21st for our F*ck Cancer fundraising event at the taproom. From 6 – 9PM, we’ll be featuring music by DJ Valmonster, Del Cielo F*ck Cancer beer on tap and 4-packs to-go and a raffle for those who purchase a F*ck Cancer beer.

 Other ways to support include:

• Buying a 4-Pack of F*ck Cancer (online or at the taproom while supplies last) 
• Donating directly to the Notes4hope 
• Send a Wellness and Recovery (WAR) kit to a patient in need worldwide
